Hurricane Watch: Fay nears Cuba, on track to become a Florida hurricane

From the Houston Chronicle's SciGuy:

Tropical Storm Fay remains a 45-mph storm today despite traversing mountainous terrain, and that's because a large high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere is helping the storm remain organized.

The National Hurricane Center has forecast a landfall along Florida's southwestern coast as a 90-mph hurricane on Tuesday, but there remains much uncertainty.
